We all know there's always work to be done, property management isn't about sitting around and letting the money role in as some people would have you believe. There are certain tasks that need to be done on time and managing these can begin to be a headache. How can you manage all these deadlines?
The good news is that we've had the same problem and found a better solution. Tools such as Property Managed will alert you of upcoming and urgent activities that need to be performed, from as simple as your insurance needs renewing, to mortgage fixed rate periods are coming to an end and possibly more importantly when rent payments are due!.
There are a number of ways to get notified, you can view a rolled-up view on the website, or in a daily reminder email, and there are 2 classifications of actions;
- Urgent: Actions that require attention immediately, normally an expiry date has been passed.
- Upcoming: A deadline is approaching so you should plan for the tasks highlighted.
